July 11, 1990 – March 25, 2024

Born in Omaha, Nebraska

Passed in Omaha, Nebraska at Immanuel hospital peacefully with loved ones surrounding him.

Survived by wife, Danae Beckmann, parents, Gary and Debbie Beckmann, brother, Blaine Beckmann in Omaha.

Preceded in death by his grandfathers, Paul Hustig and Raymond Beckmann; grandmother, Doris Beckmann; aunt, Beverly Case; cousins, Jason Forman and Robbie Beckmann.

Steve was a loving and supporting brother of Blaine Beckmann. They loved jamming out, gaming together and loved picking on each other like brothers should.

He had a passion for music his whole life, playing guitar in his first band named Beyond Immortality when he was 15. He played in several other bands through the years named Face the Tyrant, Antares, The Carbon Cycle, XiptyE, and Keeper of Innsmouth.

He started his first job at Baker’s at the age of 16 until he was 24. He then worked at Seal-Rite insulation until he was 33.

Steve graduated from Northwest high school in 2008 Following graduation, he moved in with his close friends and lived his life to the fullest always playing guitar, drawing, and playing video games.

Service of Remembrance: Saturday, March 30th, 2:00PM at Heafey-Hoffmann-Dworak-Cutler, West Center Chapel, with a Visitation starting at 1:00PM. The service will begin by Terri and Stan, we then will ask his loved ones to come up to pray or tell stories about him.

Flowers may be sent to the funeral home.

Following services, we will be gathering at the Drinkery, where his band, Keeper of Innsmouth, played their first show, we will be celebrating his life.

    Steve was a great person. That was always fun to be around. !! I knew him through Danae but also through work ! he was a hard worker and a loyal husband to Danae and family !! RIP Steve you will be missed – God bless you !!!

    Steve was a good man and a true friend. We unfortunately lost touch through the years, but I will never forget the good memories we shared playing at venues together in Omaha. He was always so supportive and you could tell there was something different about him.
