Steven A. “ Lil Steven” Garay, Jr.

October 4, 2007 – May 14, 2023

FUNERAL SERVICE: Friday, May 19, 2023, 12:00 noon, West Center Chapel. INTERMENT: Evergreen Memorial Park.

Steven A. “ Lil Steven” Garay, Jr., passed away on May 14, 2023, at 11:18 a.m. surrounded by his mother, Jennifer Ramirez; father, Steven A. Garay, Sr.; sister, Naomi Rocha; brother, Jayven Garay; sister, Sofia Garay; grandmother, Reynolda Davis; grandfather, Jeff Davis; aunt, Priscilla Garay; uncle, Simmon Moreno; aunt, Esmeralda Ramirez; cousins: Jalissa Salinas, Laylah Vasquez, Jaxon Vasquez. He is survived by numerous family members in Houston, Texas.
Born on October 4, 2007, Steven grew up in Houston, Texas, but because of his medical condition they moved to Omaha Nebraska in January of 2020.
Steven was a child who enjoyed music, video games and spending time with all his family when he had the chance. He loved to dance. His smile was like no other, and it lit up the whole room. He loved to joke with everyone and loved to have a roasting battle, especially with all his nurses and caretakers. No matter the pain he was in, he was always had an upmost lifting spirit. He attended school up to the 7th grade. He played the violin and the snare drums. He was also in a marching band. He wanted so much in life and wanted to fulfill so many dreams. He wanted to be a sports player, but his medical condition stopped him. He also wanted to be a doctor, to be able to help others the same way he was cared for.
He will be remembered as the most loving, caring, funny, also a brat (lol), but most of all as the best son a mother and father could have had. He will be missed dearly by his brother and sisters and the entire family.

    “Forever Steven Strong”
God chooses “Beautiful People “like you, to nurture, to love and keep moving.” It is you my friend Jennifer”. You have such a “Caring Heart” and a “Beautiful Soul “You are filled with “So Much Love, Compassion and a Very Strong will of Strength”. It was you that passed that along to your loving son Steven.
You and your family will forever fill each other’s hearts and presence within. “Memories last forever”!
    Love you, ❤
