April 15, 1953 – July 24, 2020

Preceded in death by Best Golf Buddy, Chris Petersen.  Survived by wife, Diane; children: Joe, Eric, Melissa, Tim, and Katie and their spouses; grandchildren; five brothers and one sister.

VIGIL SERVICE: Wednesday, July 29th at 9:30am at St. James Catholic Church, 4720 N. 90th St., with MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL at 10:30.  Private Interment.

Memorials may be directed to the family.

    Steve was a GREAT guy, loved knowing him through the 70’s. I last saw him at at Fred’s several years back. So sorry for your loss Diane & family.

    So sorry for your loss. We always loved seeing Steve, his smile and laugh, he always made us feel welcome and like we were old, dear friends. Such a great man, God bless you all and much healing to your entire family!

    So, so sorry. My kids will miss their “Godfather”. They have always loved their “Godparents” even though they have not been close, in geographic distance.
