Sue Peters

PETERS, Sue Dec 28, 1934 – Jul 11, 2013 Sue was born in Mena, Arkansas to Jud and Elsie Titsworth. Her parents were farmers and store owners. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her six siblings: Belle Proctor, Gene Titsworth, Betty Hale, Jerry Owens, Rosie Fryar and her baby sister, June Fehse. Sue went to a one-room school house for grade school and then attended Mena High School. After graduating from high school in 1952, Sue moved to Chicago where she received her Associate’s Degree from Northwestern University. Sue was a bookkeeper and tax accountant. She was Bishop’s secretary for the Episcopal Diocese for most of her career. Sue’s many interests included gardening, golf, reading, bridge and traveling. Her greatest achievements however, were her girls and grandchildren. Sue is survived by her children: Shari Baranowski (Chris), Deb Faller (Kevin), Missy Peters (Todd Linder), and Kellie Peters (Lloyd Black). She is also survived by her grandchildren: Tony Baranowski, Sarah Baranowski, Emily Faller, Madi Jones, and Josh Faller, as well as many nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend a special thanks to all of Sue’s many friends and caregivers at Rolling Hills Ranch and Prairie Meadows for being so good to her, especially in her final days. The family will receive friends Monday, July 15th from 5pm to 8pm at the West Center Chapel. SERVICES Tuesday, July 16th at 9am at Trinity Episcopal Cathedral, 109 N. 18 St.
