Dr. Patricia Maureen Sullivan, Ph.D. Jun 24, 1946 – Dec 29, 2015 Age 69 of Omaha. She was preceded in death by her father, Paul Sullivan; mother, Maureen Tighe Sullivan; brothers, Thomas Sullivan and Terrance Sullivan. Survived by husband of 31 years, Jace Anderson; daughter, Katherine Maureen McCarville (Matt); stepchildren, Brad Anderson (Liz) and Laura Brummer (Travis); step-grandchildren: Chloe, Allie and Drew. Dr. Sullivan received her Masters and Ph.D. in Pediatric Psychology in three years from the University of Iowa and dedicated her career to working with children with disabilities and the hearing impaired. An internationally and nationally renowned researcher, Dr. Sullivan delivered over 250 presentations and authored over 55 publications during her long career, travelling to Canada, Ireland, England and New Zealand for her work. Trish was a beloved wife, mother, friend and selfless advocate for children and others. She enjoyed travelling, attending and being involved in her church, celebrating her Irish heritage, and enjoying a good glass of wine. A special thanks to the wonderful people at Hilltop Mable Rose who loved her and cared for her in her final days. You will never be forgotten. In lieu of flowers, her family suggests donations in her memory to Trinity Episcopal Cathedral or the Alzheimers Association Midlands chapter.
