Suzette Stueve age 37, passed away unexpectedly in her sleep on June 20, 2015 at her residence in Chico, California. Suzette was an RN in the Clinical Informatics department at Enloe Medical Center at the time of her death. Suzette was an amazing friend and a devout advocate for animals. Everyone that knew her remembers her incredible smile and quick wit. To quote a dear friend Suzette was gorgeous inside and out. She had a gift of making everyone feel special and will truly be missed. Suzette was born on February 16, 1978 in Blair, Nebraska to Donna and Randy Stueve, Suzette attended Iowa Western Community College and graduated with her RN in 1998. Suzette earned her BS in Nursing at a later date. Her first job as a RN was at Jenny Edmundson Hospital in Council Bluffs. Suzette became a traveling RN in 2000. After working at many hospitals she came to Enloe Medical Center as a traveling RN and decided to make Chico her home. Survivors include: her mother Donna Stueve, her brother Gerry, niece Preslee residing in Missouri Valley, Iowa, her father: Randy Stueve of Council Bluffs,, Iowa. Her beloved dogs Stella, Trucker and Midnight. Suzette was lucky enough to find an amazing love with Edgar (EJ) Genato Jr and his daughter Alyzabeth Aly. A celebration of life was held at 4:00 p.m. Friday, June 26, 2015 at the conference center of Enloe Medical Center 1528 Esplanade Chico, California. A viewing will be held Saturday, July 4th, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Hennessey Funeral Home in Missouri Valley, Iowa. A trust fund for the care of her cherished dogs is being established.
