Sylvia was a kind and loving person who’s happiness came from making those she loved happy. She always had a warm smile and kind words for all those she met. She was fun-loving, always upbeat, loved to sing and dance, and everything she did was filled with joy and a positive spirit. Sylvia spent the last 19 years of her life trapped in a broken body, unable to walk or effectively communicate, but her positive attitude and love for her family and friends shone through constantly. She also loved her Lord Jesus Christ all the days of her life. She has been called home now, reunited with two of her sons. Her memory will always live on in our hearts. May she rest in peace.
Visitation begins Sunday, January 29th, 3pm, with a Wake Service at 4pm at West Center Chapel.
Mass of Christian Burial: Monday, January 30th, 10am at Christ the King Catholic Church.
Interment: Resurrection Cemetery.
Memorials to Siena Francis House or Catholic Charities.

I am so sorry for your loss. As I told Amy, I have nothing but fond memories of Sylvia from our family get togethers growing up. Big hugs to all of the family. May she rest in peace with her sons and look down on the rest of us and smile.
To Rick and your children, We Mercy girls and Holy Cross friends will definitely miss Sylvia’s smile, her positive spirit and friendliness. My prayers are for you Rick and your kids to ease the loss of a beautiful woman who was loved by all who knew her.. God bless you all from Arizona.
