Terri Lee Schrieber passed away on August 29, 2022, after a long illness. She was 71 years old.

It would be wrong to say that Teri lost her battle because she never stopped fighting. No matter how sick she was, she was always determined. When anyone else would have broken, Teri stayed strong. Through her we know what resilience and perseverance truly look like. There was no quit in Teri. Just because she is no longer here, it doesn’t mean she lost her fight.

Teri was preceded in death by her parents, Harold Ball and Mary (Barberine) Ball; husband, John W. “Jack” Schrieber, who she fiercely loved with all her heart. Family and friends can find solace in knowing that Jack and Teri are together again. Teri is survived by her son, William “Bill” Burton; granddaughter; Loren Burton; daughter, Jamie Dewees.

Teri also had a passion for dogs. Over the years, she owned many dogs herself while also participating in local rescue operations and fundraisers devoted to raising money for animal welfare. She also found a love for real estate in the late 90s and enjoyed helping people find the place where special memories would be made.

While Teri’s family grieves her loss, they are choosing to remember Teri in a way that honors her spirit.
