Ted was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska. He graduated from Technical High School in 1955 and served in the US Navy from 1955-59. Following his time in the Navy, he worked for the US Postal Service until his retirement. Ted enjoyed spending time with his family, friends, and gardening on his farm in Coin, Iowa. He loved volunteering at the local library where he made many friends. During his career at the USPS he played recreational softball. Ted will be incredibly missed by his family and friends and will always be remembered as an avid collector of many, MANY things.

I was so sorry to hear of Ted’s passing. I worked with him at the post office many years ago. I always remember him for his big smile. My condolences to his family.
