Tom was preceded in death by his mother, Catherine Brennan; father, Marcus Brennan; brothers, Patrick Brennan and James Brennan; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Norma and Martin Hansen; sister-in-law, Marjean Sack; brother-in-law, Jerry Van Bibber; nephew, David Coffin.

He is survived by his wife, Jan Brennan; children, Eric Brennan and wife Stephanie, Sarah Solano and husband Payton; grandchildren: Rylen Solano, Avery Brennan and Gennavieve Solano; sister, Mary Jane Hendricks and husband Rick; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Norm Sack, Sandy and Clint Van Winkle, Gary Hansen, June Van Bibber, Dallas and Sonja Hansen, Cecilia Brennan and Donna Brennan; stepmother, Phyllis Brennan; nieces and nephews.

WAKE SERVICE: Monday, August 24th,  at 7pm at the West Center Chapel, with visitation starting at 5pm.  MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL: Tuesday, August 25th, 11am at Mary Our Queen Catholic Church, 3405 S. 118th St.  Interment: Calvary Cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to VNA Hospice, the American Heart Association, or the University of Nebraska Foundation Brain Cancer Research Fund.

Tom was born and raised in Omaha. He attended St Cecilia Grade School and Cathedral High School, graduating in 1972.  He continued his education while working at Commercial Federal, graduating in 2002. After 30 years, he retired from Bank of the West. He enjoyed retirement with his three grandchildren.

    So sorry to hear about Tom”s passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and the family.. Circumstances will prevent us from attending the funeral.

    I was a classmate of Tom ‘s at Cathedral High School. We were the class of 72. It was such a small classs, we all knew each other. I remember Tom as the tall kid with a smile on his face. I am sure he is smiling down from heaven to all of his family. God Bless You

    I played basketball with Tom at MOQ and it was always great when Tom was on my team. Condolences and prayers to the family. So sorry for your loss.

    Our sympathies to your family. We are so sorry to hear of Tom’s passing. We knew you many years ago when the kids were in preschool and have always enjoyed talking to you when we would run into you. Sorry for your loss.

    Sorry to hear of Toms passing. I worked with him at the Bank for many years. Remember him as s super nice guy who loved his family & had a wiry sense of humor. Your family will be in our thoughts & prauers.
