ROSARY: Thursday, September 16th, 9:30am followed by MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL at 10am, all at Mary Immaculate Church, 7745 Military Ave. Interment: Resurrection Cemetery.
Tom, age 67, was born in Omaha, Nebraska, to Francis and Rose Ann Cahill. He was a lifelong resident of Omaha, graduating from Archbishop Ryan High School in 1972.
Tom lived a life of contemplation. He was passionate about his religious beliefs and liked to engage in lively conversations about his Catholic faith.
Tom was preceded in death by parents; sister, Patricia Able; and brother-in-law, John Fleming. He is survived by sisters: Marilyn Savage of Marrero, Louisiana, Cathleen “Kate” Fleming of Deadwood, South Dakota, and Sharon Warga (Tom) of Plattsmouth, Nebraska.
He was very proud of his nieces and nephews: Louisa McConnell, Jill (Skradski) Novotny (Chad), Jessi Sallenbach (Jon), Dan Warga (Jamie), Mike Warga, Sarah (Savage) Hanney (Mark), Lauren Savage, Shea Fleming, Kevin Able, and eleven grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
Pallbearers: Tom Warga, Dan Warga, Mike Warga, Jon Sallenbach, and Chad Novotny.
His final resting place is Resurrection Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Mary Immaculate Catholic Church, 7745 Military Ave., Omaha, NE 68134.
