Thanks for everything, dad.
We will miss Uncle Tom. I have such wonderful, funn and “perfect” photograph memories of Uncle Tom. Love to Aunt Donna, Keuth, Glenn and Ken. We have great memories that I will cherish forever!
I was sadden to hear of Tom passing away. My thoughts are with Tom’s family. Tom was a mentor to me early in my work career. Tom hired me in 1975 to work with him at Iowa Western Community College. I am not certain what potential Tom saw in me at that time but I am forever grateful.
In deepest sympathy,
Lynn Tindall
Tom was a good personal and professional friend for the last 50 years. There was a time when he referred to himself as Thomas ‘Marvelous’ Dutch. Upon reflection, that was obviously true. Tom always had your back, except on the golf course…we often prayed for him standing over a 2 foot putt. God’s speed by friend.

I was saddened to learn of Tom’s passing, and you are all in my thoughts and prayers. I have such fond memories of all of us cousins growing up on Wirt Street – three houses in a row: Kings (my mother, Winifred Gagnebin), Dutches, and Duroses. I know he will be missed, and may he rest in the eternal peace of the Lord.
Tom and Donna have been such good neighbors for o’ so many years. We will miss him dearly. Godspeed and rest in peace.
Not only was Tom a wonderful person, he was a virtual master photographer. On many regional trips with a close buddy of his, the late William B Kratville, Tom produced images which displayed forethought, an ability to “see” his image before he made it and a marvelous ability to make best use of light. Thanks for saving so many moments in time, Tom.
Tom was a good friend for many, many years. He was always a pleasure to work with. He will be missed by many.
