Timothy Earl “Tim” Reitz was born in Rock Springs, Wyoming to George and Carol (Case) Reitz.  He lived his early childhood in the Rock Springs area.  Later moving to Grant, Nebraska as a teen.  Tim lived in Lincoln, Nebraska for a while as an adult and then ended up making Omaha, Nebraska his home.  He received his Associates Degree as an Electronics Technician.

Tim had many jobs always fixing electrical, mechanical or automation machines; all were truly a passion for him.  He could survey a situation and fix almost anything that he came across.  Tim enjoyed football, the Las Vegas Raiders being his team of choice.  He also enjoyed Nebraska football, win or lose.  Another of Tim’s hobbies was going to the dirt track car races in and around Omaha.  He also enjoyed the “big boys” of NASCAR.

Tim loved his wife, Cynthia “Cyndie”, and his stepchildren; he loved them like they were his own.  He also held a special place in his heart for his family out in western Nebraska.  Tim shared a love of hot rod cars and motorcycles with his brother, Ron, and nephews, Greg, Adam and Nathan.  He had a heart of gold and would help friends and family as best he could and would talk hours on the phone with family.  Tim never ran out of anything to say; just ask anyone that knew him.

Tim was preceded in death by parents, George and Carol; brother, Ron; and grandparents.  He is survived by wife, Cyndie; one adult daughter, Hailey; six stepchildren: Matthew, Adam (Samantha), Alyssa (significant other Chad), Benjamin, Courtney (Robert) and Daniel; four granddaughters: Mackenzie, Madyson, Reagan, Caley; sister, Mary (Mike); brother, Cecil; many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
