Todd A. Foglia, born February 25, 1971, in Rochester, New York, passed away on January 12, 2025, in his beloved hometown at the age of 53.

Todd spent most of his life in Rochester, growing up in the Greece neighborhood before settling in downtown Rochester as an adult. He worked at the Winfield Grill and shared a home with his long-time high school friend, Laura Darweesh. Todd’s childhood was filled with adventures in the deep woods alongside his sister Andrea and cousins Chris, Lori, and Mike Foglia. As their fearless leader, he orchestrated countless fort-building missions that became cherished memories.

Summers were marked by family road trips to Omaha, Nebraska, where he visited his grandparents and the extended Monico family. These trips were filled with the aroma of authentic Italian cooking, visits to the Henry Doorly Zoo, and joyful gatherings with cousins Angela, Tammy and Toni-Rae Earnest; Kym, Michelle, JoAnn and Tony Snelling; Marci, Dawn, and Leigh-Ann Monico.

During his teenage years, Todd expressed his creativity through music, jamming on his electric guitar with friends and cruising around town in his Chevy Camaro. His love for exploration extended into adulthood, where he found joy in traveling and delving into the mysteries of the world. Todd was an avid reader of *National Geographic* and had a passion for researching the unexplained. He was also known for his deep affection for animals, especially dogs.

Todd was preceded in death by his Grandparents, Monroe and Ophelia Foglia and Tony and Marie Monico; his Uncle Anthony Monico, Uncle Herman and  Aunt Lucy Monico; and Aunt Connie and Uncle Bob Earnest.

He is survived by his loving parents, Monte and JoAnn (Monico) Foglia; sister, Andrea and brother-In-Law, Brad Lester; godparents, Dana and Pat Foglia; aunt Jeannie and uncle Jim Cozzetta, aunt Mary and uncle Jim Snelling, aunt Jan and uncle Tony Monico; as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews and extended family members.

Todd will be remembered for his adventurous spirit, love of nature, and the joy he brought to those who knew him. May his memory bring comfort to all who mourn his passing.

Words cannot express my deepest condolences to you and your family. Todd was a loving, funny, generous guy and a good friend to those who were fortunate enough to have him in their lives. I have many, many fond memories with him and will cherish his memory forever. I am grateful for the time ai had with him over the past 35 years and know he is watching down playing his guitar and chuckling at us. I loved his cheeks when he smiled and how he would toss his head when he laughed. He was a unique, wonderful soul and will be missed very much!!
