Toni A. Gunter
January 21, 1941 – August 29, 2020
Toni was a graduate of the University of Kansas where she received her degree in Secondary Education, and then subsequently taught high school in Wichita, KS and at Boys Town in Omaha, NE. She thoroughly enjoyed teaching as well as real estate, having worked as a realtor for several years in Oklahoma. She was a dedicated homemaker, always putting her family first. She always did whatever was necessary to love, care for, educate, and protect her children and very much liked to read in her spare time. Toni had an absolutely radiant, beautiful smile, loved to be with people, and could always strike up a conversation and make friends wherever she went.
Toni was a beautiful lady in every way.

Thinking and praying for you all. May God peace and grace be covering your family..
I truly enjoyed Toni. In the early 70s she assisted me while working with kids that had dropped out of College. She and I spent most days visiting over lunch. To this day I remember her beauty at her wedding (I was in HS). She was always a very upbeat, happy person who had an ability to share an honest concern with my students. She was a wonderful person and I’m terribly sorry I cant make the trip to Omaha.
If it were not for the promise of our Lord Jesus that we will be together again with Him in His kingdom I would be totally lost. My Aunt Toni was my rock of Love my whole life. She was kind, caring, and supportive always. I loved her more than mere words can express. To Angela, Michael, Jennifer, and David, you were blessed to have her for a Mom and I ache for your loss as you go through this hard time in your lives. May you find comfort in the love of your families.
Angela, Michael, Jennifer and David, We are deeply sorry for your loss and know that her loving spirit lives with you always. Briefly as neighbors, we became long time friends, and through the miles and years we maintained an abiding friendship. Charming, kind and caring. easy to know and easy to love…..a remarkable person. David we were so saddened to hear of Toni’s passing on Tuesday. Our memories of Toni and her family lessons she taught us during our 20 plus years of you and me working together in difficult and challenging times had a great impact on our values. And, when we had fun, we Had FUN as the two of you helped our family love to ski and enjoy the mountains. Some day we will all meet again on the powder and scream our way down the slopes that our family’ has been able to enjoy since those very first turns. Thank you to Toni and you being role models for our family and our hearts will beat knowing Toni is in the lift seat next to us.
Dave, Madelene and I look forward getting together with you in Omaha or Castle Rock in the near future and toasting to the wonderful times then and now. Toni would like that.

Hi David and Elaine,
So sorry for your loss. I only knew Toni for a short time but after hearing Father Tom’s sermon, I feel I know her better.
What a loss. I will continue prayers for your family.

Dear Family, I joined for the live service and thought your priest did a wonderful job of capturing the essence of who Toni was to us all. I WISH I COULD BE THERE TO GIVE YOU ALL REALLY BIG HUGS.
Dear David and family,
I am so very sorry to hear of Toni’s passing. I knew her from the Delay the Disease exercise class
for those with Parkinsons. She was always friendly and talkative. I will keep all of you in my thoughts
and prayers. May Toni rest in peace.
