Toyja was sunshine on a rainey day. Parents are not supposed to bury their children. Toyja’s passing will definitely leave a hole in our hearts. Doug, Matthew, Jessica &Daniel, we love you and are there for you..

Toyja will be very much missed. While my son was enduring his own battle with cancer, Toyja and Daniel made regular visits over nearly a year in the hospital. She was always quick to ask about my son and always there for support. I will miss her smile and her great sense of humor. She had a wonderful way of treating everyone like they were so special. She was an amazing woman. To the family, I am so sorry for your loss.

I’m so very sorry to hear of Toyja’s passing. She was my daughter’s Girl Scout leader and held meeting in my classroom after school. She always told me that getting up in front of people made her so nervous that she wouldn’t be able to eat the day of the meeting yet she did it anyway for years because that was the kind of person she was. She was so selfless. My heart breaks for her family. Sending lots of prayers for you all. Rest In Peace Toyja!

Toyja was a great sister, I will miss her dearly. My boys will definitely be missing out on her wonderfulness and caring Aunt she would have been for them. The best I will be able to do is share her stories, love and compassion for life and family traditions. She will be missed greatly. Love and miss you forever, Mindy
