Trina M. Hensley

April 21, 1971 – September 23, 2022

Proceeded in death by brother Joseph Dominic Collins, grandparents Bob and Elaine Nebuda, Jean Owens, and Victor and Pauline Collins.

Survived by mother Angel Nebuda; fathers Dale Nebuda and Richard Collins; heart sister Misty Sheehan and her family, Todd, Brett, Kayla, Tyler, and Jake.

Trina attended Catholic schools, graduating from Mercy High School in 1989. Following two years of nursing school, Trina was drawn to childcare, working at, and managing, two Catholic preschools for nearly twenty-five years.  Most recently, Trina has been an account representative for Mutual of Omaha’s annuity department.

Trina was smart with a quick, and sometimes sharp, wit.  If you were “one of her people”, you were loved unconditionally.  If you held prejudices or unkind, you were not one of hers.  She had a love of animals and was also creative, be it with baking, cooking, scrapbooking, crocheting, or painting on glass.  She was a blessing to her parents, who could ask for no finer daughter.

She cherished her forty-four-year friendship with Misty Sheehan, and being allowed to participate in the nurturing of Brett, Tyler, Kayla, and Jake (Misty, and husband Todd’s, children.)

She will be missed by all fortunate enough to have known her. She would not want us to be sad for her passing from this life, but rather to celebrate her time with us, and her new life.

VISITATION: Saturday, October 1, 2022, 9:30am-10:30am, followed by a CELEBRATION OF LIFE at 10:30am, both at West Center Chapel.
