June 17, 1944 – September 12, 2018
Preceded in death by parents, William and Jociel Gerloff; grandson, Preston Carlow; husband, Ken Newman. Survived by children, Cory Carlow (Laura) and Lynn Mackeprang; six grandchildren: Taylor Carlow, Cameron Carlow (Paige), Reilly Carlow, Jason Victor, Kristin Mackeprang, and McCaiden Mackeprang; sisters, Tyann Peters (Keith) and Tanell Wirzba (Marv); other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends on Friday, September 14th from 5pm to 7pm at the West Center Chapel. SERVICES: Saturday, September 15 at 9:30am, West Center Chapel. Interment, Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Memorials are suggested to Alzheimer’s Association.

Trudy was special. She had a wonderful sense of humor and laugh. Deepest sympathy to Cory , Lynn and families.
Trudy you still had that sparkle in your eyes. You were the Sister I never had. Many good memories, so glad you were apart of my life. Trudy will live on forever, who are loved in memory .She was so ready to join Ken, the light of her life.
A person’s true wealth is the good he or she does in this world . . . Trudy was one of the wealthiest one knew. Her wonder sense of humor, goes without saying g. She was my brothers Guardian Angel, such love between the two of them was a beautiful thing. I hold a lot of good memories of Trudy, the morning coffee, rides to the store or just hanging out at home. I find a great peace in the thought of what her daughter told me . . Trudy is with Kenny now. I love that. She still will be missed.
