Victoria A. “Grammy” Kosch

Victoria A. “Grammy” Kosch

January 11, 1954 – February 4, 2024

Victoria Anne “Grammy” Kosch born in Cortez, Colorado January 11, 1954, the third born of six children.  She passed away Feb 4, 2024.

Vicki always had a spiritual interest and in 1973 she and her sister Terry started studying the Bible in Burlington Colorado.

She was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses on 4/29/1974 and remained a faithful servant of Jehovah the rest of her life.

Vicki was known to friends and family to be a strong, intelligent, fiercely independent woman.

As a testament to her faith for 10 years of her life, Vicki lived in Mullen, Nebraska. Vicki would drive with her two children no less than 75 miles one way to meet with her congregation twice a week.  For some of those years, she drove 100 miles to meet with her assigned congregation.  She was an amazing example to her children and to others.

Vicki loved her grandchildren. She was lovingly called Grammy and when she was well, she actively participated in caring for and entertaining her grandbabies.  For many years she would attend meetings and assemblies with them, bake cookies with them, do crafts with them, attend school functions, plan family gatherings, play cards and games, and just in general enjoy her grand kids.

Her family loved her baking, especially her banana muffins and molasses cookies.

Her grand kids have described her as

Resilient

Stubborn

Faithful

Loving

Kind

Fun

Vicki had a variety of jobs supporting herself and her children. From owning a cleaning business, bookkeeping, to her last job as a broker with Ameritrade, she was always known as a hard worker.

Vicki struggled with the challenges of Crohns disease for many years. One of the reasons she was able to endure was the support from her family and friends, and her faith in promises at Is 33:24 and Rev 21:3,4.

Vicki never would have wanted anyone to make a fuss over her. She would have been deeply moved by the outpouring of love for her.

The Family wishes to express gratitude for your love and support during this time.

Thank you all.
