Victoria Lynn Vaughan

Age 62 of Omaha; died on Wednesday, December 6, 2017. She was born on February 12, 1955 in Salina, KS to Wesley and Betty (Mileger) Garrison. For years, Vicki dedicated herself to others and was an exemplary role model in the educational community of Omaha in OPS. She received many professional awards, culminating in being awarded principal of the year in OPS. Vicki is survived by significant other, John Winter; sons, Brian Vaughan (Michelle) and John Buck Vaughan; sisters: Linda Wyatt (Larry), Carla Corrigan (Richard), Rhonda, and Jody (Keith); brother, Jay Garrison. She was preceded in death by her parents and by an infant daughter, Emily Vaughan. We were privileged to have her in our lives, and she will always remain in our hearts.

The family will receive friends on Friday, Dec. 8th from 5pm to 7pm at the West Center Chapel.  SERVICES Saturday, Dec. 9th at 1pm at First Christian Church, 6630 Dodge St.  Memorials are suggested to Special Olympics Nebraska, Inc.

    Shocked,and sooo saddened. Vicki was a very special friend, one of a kind person. She had very big heart, & would do anything to help anyone. I will treasure our friendship forever.I feel very blessed to have known her. Will miss our fun lunches together& times spent @ the pool.. Our thoughts & prayers are with the families & loved ones.     Please accept my sincere condolences for the loss of your family member and friend Victoria. Words cannot express the pain and loss you may feel.
