I’m so sorry. I have so many memories of us cousins growing up and visiting in the summers. And coming to visit when Lisa was born. She was such a beautiful little girl! But poor mama and grandma couldn’t get little sweet Lisa to settle down. They were amazed cause every time I’d hold and cuddle her she’d settle right down and snuggle in and go right to sleep.. I’d dealt with many many little ones and I guess I just was very comfortable with babies. But by the time I left I think mama and grandma got the hang of it. But she’s at peace now. It’s hard to understand that but I had to tell myself that when my parents died of cancer, especially mom who also had colon cancer. Thinking of all of you. Love, Jill

Violet was more than my sister; she was my closest friend. We spent countless hours together as children. We shared a bedroom for many years and even though at times it caused disagreements, it was a wonderful memory of mine. My sister would read to me, and she would tell me stories, until the wee hours of the night.
My sister enjoyed so many family-oriented events. Violet was also a very compassionate person. She cared a lot for her friends and family and would do anything to help them. Even though she lived in a small apartment in the city, she enjoyed many loved ones that would visit, and it was always full of precious pictures of family and friends.
Violet, I will always remember you and the time we spent together. Your memory will live on in my heart forever. Love you always! Brenda
