Age 94, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 8, 2021, at Omaha Methodist Hospital. She was born on December 11, 1926, in Phillips, Nebraska, to Herbert and Minnie Rathje.
Ginny was married to Robert “Bob” Dahms for 62 years. She was a devoted wife and worked her whole life as a homemaker for her husband and five daughters. Ginny truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures, playing bridge, chatting with family and friends, and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a hostess and baker extraordinaire, and she loved her bridge groups. Her strong faith and love of St. Wenceslaus is an inspiration to all of us.
She was preceded in death by parents; husband, siblings: Donald, Imogene and Richard; daughters, Barbara Stockwell, Diane Macias; son-in-law, Mike Sparling; granddaughter, Rachel Biodrowski. She is survived by daughters: Patti Sparling, Christine Biodrowski (Paul) and Margie Singer (Michael); grandchildren; great-grandchildren and many friends. We were blessed to have her in our lives and her memory will live on in our hearts forever.
