Virginia K. (Ginny) Cave

Virginia K. (Ginny) Cave, age 64, of Logan, Iowa passed away Friday, October 26, 2012 at the Hospice House in Omaha, Nebraska. Virginia was born February 21, 1948 in Omaha, Nebraska to Elmer and Glee (Skull) Borsen. She graduated from Benson High School in Omaha. She was married to Jim Cave, November 22, 1974 in Papillion, Nebraska. They resided near Logan and were very active in animal rescue. Ginny enjoyed her dogs, horses, building doll houses, fixing cars, tiling floors, painting rooms, reading, baking and was a member of the German American Club. Ginny rode horse back on Sir Gallahad a big palomino in the Cancer Drive for two years. Ginny was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her husband Jim Cave of Logan, Iowa; daughter: Audra Ryan of Council Bluffs, Iowa; son: Kevin Cave and wife Alicia of Bellevue, Nebraska; step-son: Brian Cave of Magnolia, Iowa; grandchildren: Josh Cox; Steven Cox and wife Heather; Austin Cave; Tylor Horton; Leandra Horton; Ethan Cave; Erich Cave; mother-in-law: Virginia Mae Cave of Woodbine, Iowa; sister: Karen Widman and husband Ron; nieces and nephews. A Prayer Service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Logan Memorial Chapel with family visitation until 8:00 p.m. The family would like to invite everyone to a time of lunch and fellowship at the Christian Church in Logan following the committal service.
