Virginia Roberta (Juarez) Torrez

November 19, 1932 – May 4, 2025

Virginia, 92, went to her eternal home on May 4, 2025, in Omaha, Nebraska peacefully surrounded by her loving family.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Evelyn Perez, first and second husbands, Floyd Juarez and Gregorio Torrez. She is survived by her children, Floyd Juarez, Toribio (Flower) Juarez, Stephen Juarez, Charles (Jeannie) Juarez, Vincent (Rhonda) Juarez, Carol (Flyn) Smith, Adella (Tony) Garcia, Evelyn (Harry Paul) Jones, Frances (Felipe) Rangel, Mary Juarez, and Andrea Juarez, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was born in Omaha, where she married, raised her children, and remained until her passing. She had a love for the Lord and made sure she always had a holy Candle lit to represent that love. Her family and friends meant everything to her, and she loved being together and having conversation with coffee or being a part of large celebrations where she could have a few White Russians and listen to her beloved mariachi music. Virginia also loved making enchiladas, and it became a family affair when preparing them for large parties and celebrations. She poured her love into everything she did. Her warmth and love will be dearly missed and her memory cherished.

GRAVESIDE SERVICE AND BURIAL: Wednesday, May 14, 2025, 12:00 noon at St. Mary Cemetery in Omaha.

A Celebration of Life will be held in her honor on June 22, 2025 at St. Nicholas Orthodox Church Social Hall, 5050 Harrison Street, Bellevue, NE from 1:00p.m. – 5:00p.m.
