Preceded in death by parents, John and Catherine Sokolik; brothers: John, Joseph and Gregory Sokolik; sisters: Mary Skopinski, Catherine Regner, Theresa Kozel, and Gertrude Sokolik. Survived by husband, Joseph J. Hemenway; children and spouses: Kathryn and Patrick McDonnell, Kevin and Sara Hemenway, John and Lisa Hemenway, Joan Hemenway and Steve George, Paul Hemenway, Stephen Hemenway, Larry and Suzanne Hemenway; 10 grandchildren; siblings: Francis Sokolik, Ann Beezley, Helen Kravchuk, Joan Meisner, Robert Sokolik (Mary); nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Monday, 5pm to 7pm at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, followed by VIGIL SERVICE at 7pm at the church. MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL Tuesday, 10am, St. John Vianney Catholic Church. Interment, Calvary Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to St. John Vianney Church or Creighton University.
