We were shocked and saddened to hear of Vito’s passing. We are some of his dancing friends and met about 7-8 years ago at dances in Omaha, Fremont and Council Bluffs.. We so enjoyed him, his laughter, genuine caring for others. We will truly miss him. We found out that he used to sell cookies to our local grocery store in Onawa, IA, we are from Blencoe, IA. Our sympathy and thoughts are with all of his family at this time. What an honor to have met him and be called his friends.

Ciao amico mio. Our heartfelt condolences to the family and loved ones of a truly remarkable man. We so enjoyed his company and enthusiasm for life which was palpable and ever present. You felt his energy, laughed at his his impish banter, and thourghly enjoyed being around Vito. Never a time that we ever spent at numerous dances with Vito and Dar that they didn’t captivate the group with their friendship for others and excitement of the moment. Always a quick wit, he was easy to like and so will be missed for his many endearing qualities.

What an AMAZING man! I met Vito when he and Louise wouldcome to their doctor’s office. I was a receptionist & was so lucky to get to know them. Vito was such a gentleman, sweet & kind with a fun sense of humor. As we got to be friends I got to see a different side of this dynamic duo. Dinners & watching them dance was such a joy. When Louise passed away I worried about how much Vito’s life would change. His spirit took him into another phase of his life. I lost track of him for awhile. One day he returned to the doctor’s office with a beautiful woman named Darlene. He was the handsome, funny and loving man that I remembered. I was SO happy to have him back in my life and was delighted that he and Darlene had found each other and were enjoying life together! I’ll always remember your beautiful white hair and your bright smile! Darlene when things calm down for you please feel free to give me a call and maybe we can spend an afternoon together. Our family is very grateful for Vito’s friendship with our father, Joe Srb. He spoke so kindly of Vito all the time he knew him and through all of their involvement in TPA. My condolences to his whole family.
