My Uncle Wayne was always someone who I looked up to. He exhibited a quiet strength and intensity that allowed him to achieve amazing things throughout his life. I am proud to have been able to know him. My thoughts and prayers go out to the entire family during this difficult time.
Wayne Ryan loved his hometown, Corning, IA. It was evident by the way he supported many projects here in Corning, which would not have been possible without him. It was our pleasure to know him. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends.

I first met Wayne in 1983. He was a gracious host and we dined well at his club.
Wayne was a superb scientist and a gentleman in the truest sense of the word.
Though the latter years were sometimes fraught the sheer strength and scope of his achievement cannot be denied. In founding and building Streck he provided a model to follow for all scientists with aspirations in the commercial world.
My wife Anne and I and the Alpha team the extend our deepest sympathy to all the family, many of whom we have met over the years.
Wayne Ryan enriched my life; may he rest in peace.

Met him only a few times, but surely enough to be appalled by his personality and passion for science.
I am close to the family and coworkers, and in particular to my longtime good friend Connie.
A prayer from Italy.

I worked at Streck Labs with Dr. Ryan for a short period of time directly after college and he was such a nice gentleman to work for. He truly loved the company and what he did. I am so sorry for your loss Connie and Stacy and the rest of your family and will keep you in my prayers during this difficult time.
Dear Connie,
