Robert X. (Vodra) Welsh Sep 5, 1950 – Apr 21, 2015 Died peacefully surrounded by his loving family. Preceded in death by fathers, Robert Welsh Muffitt and Marvin F. Vodra. Also preceded in death by William H. Schmitz Jr., M.D. Survived by mother, Jean Hickey Schmitz; son, Zak D. Welsh; sister, Kathleen Nene DeRoos (Jan); brother, John M. Vodra (Mary); nieces: Kitty OKane (Christopher), Alison Walker (Chris), Libby Vodra, and Kelly Vodra; nephew, Will DeRoos; stepbrothers and stepsisters: Barb Waggoner (Don), Tom Schmitz, M.D. (Norma Schmitz, M.D.), Diane Aleshire (John), Robert Schmitz, and Jim Schmitz (Lisa); beloved grandniece, grandnephews and cousins; other relatives and many friends. VISITATION begins Saturday, April 25th at 10am at Holy Name Catholic Church, followed by MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL at 11am at the church. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Amyloidosis Foundation.
