PERFECT PICTURE! That’s JACK! Gods Gift to him !
He loved Jack SO much💕
My sympathy to you and your family, I’ll keep your dad and your family in my prayers,
We have lived at Beaver Lake for the past 43 years , and It wasn’t too long after we moved here Windell was having his house built. We have had a number of dinners with them and and some of the old timers here at the lake and as a pilot , we talked a lot about aviation and ww2. In my opinion , he was the greatest.
My deep sympathies to the Fry family. He was such a blessing to you all! I remember when he so graciously let Boy Scout Troop 324 (of which his grandson Tommy was a member) borrow his boat on a campout at Beaver Lake. The boat sure wasn’t returned in quite the same condition as given and he handled the repairs so nicely and politely. Wonderful man with a lot of class!
Wendell was a sweet , kind, and funny guy. We enjoyed talking with him at 40 & 8 dinners.. Bob enjoyed his World War II stories. Cathy was his dinner partner at times when Bob wasn’t present. He was so proud of Melissa his granddaughter and was always telling of her latest adventure. He will be missed. Our prayers go out to your family.
Fly high Wendell
Thinking of you. How blessed you were to have him so long.
