Dr. Shiffermiller was the kindest and most sincere Doc I have ever encountered. He would spend as much time as necessary with you to get a full sense of how you were doing both physically and mentally. Feels like he was: sort of the last of his kind in terms of his dedication and attentiveness.

He was also a very cool dude… always dressed sharp and his warmness was infectious. I’ll miss him terribly but good to know I have the best Doctor ever waiting for me in Heaven.

      Blessings to his family.

Bless his soul. Such a fine man and doctor. Bill was such a class act. Like his father in Ainsworth who took care of the entire area by himself. . God bless the family our prayers are with you all.

Besides his skills, which were legion, his manner and generosity with his time and attention gave me great comfort. He will be missed, my sincere condolences to his family and friends.

My heart is so sad for the Shiffermiller family at the Loss of Dr Bill. A fantastic Dr. human being friend and family member. He was my Dr back in the day and also my father’s he was wonderful to Dean and I and my folks. His father delivered all of my children at our hospital and Bill followed his footsteps as a true caring Dr. Don was a classmate of mine and my sympathy to him and to the rest of the family at this time of sadness.

Laura, I am more sorry than I can say. Shiff was so respected and admired at Methodist. I am glad I had the honor of knowing him a little bit during my 8 years at the Foundation. You both are very special people. Hugs to you and your family.
