The Roeder family was so saddened tonight to learn about Bill’s passing. Our two families have been very dear friends since our fathers, Bill and Ron, went to North High School together. I have so many wonderful memories of Bill and all the times our families have spent together. Please know how much we loved Bill and how much he is going to be missed. We are so very sorry for your loss of such an amazing man and father. We love you O’Connors’ and will be keeping you all in our hearts and in our prayers.

Please let me offer my sincere condolences to the O’Conner Family. I believe I only met Mr O’Conner once, as I remember, at his grandson Trey’s marriage to my niece Kim Schneider/O’Conner. He is now in a better place and has the Lord to watch over him.

Uncle Bill was always engaged and inquisitive, showing genuine interest in what we were doing. He really sparkled when he was around his family. Condolences to Jean and all the kids & grandkids.

Dear family, my condolences and many happy memories of Bill be with you. And if tears come, may these promises from Jehovah God comfort you. “Do not be anxious….but in everything by prayer and supplication along with thanksgiving, let your petitions be made known to God; and the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and your mental powers by means of Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:6-7; Isaiah 25:8 NWT.

My heart goes out to the O’Connor Family, Mr. O’Connor was an amazing Husband, Father, Uncle, Grandpa, and Brother. Personally, was such an awe inspiring person to me, not just for his many, many accomplishments but as the person he was. He was always so inquisitive and inquiring about me whenever we had a chance to have a conversation. I loved and admired that about Him, I always felt a little more special after those chats. He will be greatly missed but never forgotten.

We where so sorry to see of Bills passing on to a better world. We have known him since North High School and had many fun times with him in our youth rides in the back of a old ice truck to go swimming at Merrits beach such fun with with good friends, many who have left us but with good memories. Sorry we can’t attend his services but Dick is having some troubles with his get up and go from some cancer issues but we will be thinking of all of you and a special hello to his lovely wife Jean and family.

A sad occasion until you start remembering good times with Bill, and you can’t help but start smiling. An interview with Bill led to a 30-year career at Riekes for the Murphy family. A meeting kept us out of town for the services. The Irish O’Connor clan are in the Murphy clan’s thoughts and prayers.
