MOORE-William L. “Bill,” age 83 years of Omaha, passed away Wednesday evening, April 25, 2007 after a long illness. Bill was born in Freeport, IL July 10, 1923 to the late Raymond E. and Marnie Keeler Moore. Bill served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II. Following the war, he married Beulah Bacon of Finchford, IA. They and their children relocated to Omaha from Waterloo, IA in 1961. Bill’s career years in Omaha were spent in real estate brokerage, appraisal, and corporate relocation. Bill was active in the Presbyterian Church, serving as a Trustee, Deacon and Elder. He was a member of the Scottish Rite and served as an assistant scoutmaster in the Covered Wagon Council of the Boy Scouts of America. Bill was blessed with a great sense of humor. His greatest loves were his family, friends and pets. Bill was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Beulah; son, Billie; and brother, Raymond, Jr. He is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Scott Alyn and Ann Cunningham Moore of Elkhorn; granddaughters, Meridith Ann and Erin Palliser Moore, of Elkhorn; son and daughter-in-law, Bradford Keeler and Diane Knee Moore of Lincoln; special friend, Jeanne Knox; friends and family in Iowa and Illinois. FUNERAL SERVICE Saturday, 10:30 a.m., Dundee Presbyterian Church, 5312 Underwood Ave. Visitation at the Church Saturday beginning at 9:30 am. Memorials to Christ Child Society or Nebraska Humane Society.
