William Lee Maxey
April 21, 1951 – March 20, 2021
Preceded in death by parents, James and Mary Ann Maxey; brother, James Brooks “Jay” Maxey. Survived by Donna Maxey; children: Christopher, Andrew, and Sarah Maxey; grandchildren, Shelbie and Sammie Jo; brothers and sister: Jon Maxey, Mary Krause (John) and Robert Steven Maxey.
VIGIL SERVICE: Friday, April 9th at 7PM at the West Center Chapel with family receiving friends from 5PM-7PM. MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL: Saturday, April 10th at 10:30AM at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 4810 Woolworth Ave. Interment: Calvary Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the family.

We knew the Maxey family when we lived years ago on Mayberry Street. Good family and a good guy. Evonne and I extend our condolences.
I was so sorry to hear about William’s death. He was such a great person and fun to be around. I remember when he would pick up Christopher, Andrew and Sarah Beth from the child care center, he was always laughing and joking. It is ironic that last weekend I found a photo of the you at the child care center event. I hope your memories of him will comfort you all. Please accept my sympathy and and good wishes.
