William “Bill” and Linda were married for 51 years, raised 2 sons, and were proud grandparents to 7 grandchildren.  Bill was preceded in death by parents, Harry and Harriet Nodes; and wife, Linda.  Survived by siblings: Harry (Sandy) Nodes of Simpsonville, SC, Robert Nodes of Chattanooga, TN and Catherine (Kerry) Nuccio of Willow Grove PA.  Linda was preceded in death by parents, Clel and Doris Rydberg; siblings, Ron Rydberg and Ann Eades.  Both are survived by sons, Bill (Jennifer) of Frisco, TX and Brian (Beth) of Omaha; and grandchildren: Grace, Sam, Jacob, Jackson, Ben, Josh and Jayden.

Bill was born and raised in New Brunswick, NJ, graduating in 1961 from St Peter’s High School.  He graduated from Trenton Junior College in 1963 and served 4 years in the US Air Force, including a year in Vietnam.  The USAF brought him to the Omaha area where he met his wife Linda.
