July 13, 1940 – March 24, 2019
Survived by wife, Jean Hales; children: Leigh Fulkerson (David), Kristy Hales, Lori Malik (Don), and Brian Klare (Wendy); seven grandchildren.
SERVICES: Wednesday, March 27th at 5:30pm at the West Center Chapel, with fellowship immediately following. Memorials are suggested to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

Wild Bill, Thank you for being part of the decision in hiring me in June of 1988. You were my educator, coach, and adviser, during my development, as a route sales manager. You and Jean were always there for me, and I have always been grateful for that. I know you and my Dad were big “buds,” and enjoyed visiting with one another. Please say “Hi” to him for me, when you get to heaven!
Jean, my condolences to you and your family. Bill was a good and caring person. Hopefully, God kept the template after creating him, so others like him would follow.
Bill, old friend growing up we shared many good times, We remained close while living in Shreveport.
