William Thomas Iwanski
August 6, 1924 – April 5, 2018
Age 93; died at the Hillcrest Nursing Home in Bellevue, NE. Bill was born on August 6, 1924 in Burwell, NE to George and Anna (Perlinski) Iwanski. He married Sylvia Wiebelhaus in 1950.
Bill entered the United States Military on September 8, 1950 during the Korean Conflict. He was honorably discharged on June 7, 1952.
Bill is survived by his children: Michele and Stanley Caldwell of Omaha, Patti and Steve Bergevin of Omaha, Mike and Deb Iwanski of Plattsmouth, NE, Tom and Kym Iwanski of Ft. Collins, CO, and Heidi Iwanski of Seattle, WA; 17 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Sylvia; parents; one brother, Frank Iwanski; and a sister, Frances Long.
GRAVESIDE SERVICE will be held on Monday, April 9th at 11am at Calvary Cemetery with military honors by American Legion Post #1.
