YOUNGMAN, Lynda Louise (Inman)

Lynda Louise (Inman) Youngman Mar 21, 1948 – May 8, 2016 Elkhorn, NE. Lynda was born March 21, 1948, to Aldine White Inman and Wallace D. Inman in Des Moines, Iowa. After childhood moves to Topeka, Kansas and Lincoln, Nebraska, Lynda graduated from Southeast High School in 1966. She attended Monmouth College and graduated from UNL in 1970. She was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority. Always an excellent student, Lynda was a lifelong lover of books. Lynda was predeceased by her parents. She is survived by three sons: Mark Youngman (Ginger) and their children Anders, Duncan, Lana and Karis, all of North Wales, Pennsylvania, Blake Youngman of Omaha, and Clark Youngman (Caitlin) and their daughter Brianna, all of Omaha; sister, Jennifer Pansing (Thomas) of Omaha; nephews, David Wallace Pansing (Jeffery Conway) of Philadelphia, and Daniel Pansing (Karen) and their daughters, Anna and Madeline, all of Western Springs, Illinois; and her precious rescue dog Rally, an amputee and cancer survivor. Lynda’s joys in life related to being a mother and grandmother. She was involved in her sons’ swimming, both at South Pacific Pool where all three life-guarded, and at Millard North High School. Lynda served on school committees and won a Millard booster award. She enjoyed watching televised sports—especially the Broncos—with her sons. Lynda was a fabulous seamstress. She enjoyed sewing for her grandchildren and grandnieces, making bibs, aprons, dresses, Halloween costumes, and seasonal pillow cases. She did lovely quilts, towels, and pillows, all of which her family treasures. Lynda also enjoyed her flower garden and shared herbs and tomatoes. Lynda’s strong love of animals led to her volunteering at the Pet Clinic, where she was eventually employed until she was diagnosed with colon cancer in 2012.
