Gerald J. Zach Apr 21, 1924 – Jan 29, 2015 Received the Military Order of the Purple Heart and Bronze Star for his service in WWII; member of American Legion Post 331, VFW Post 2704 and Life Member of Disabled American Veterans #2. Preceded in death by parents; seven brothers; two sisters; granddaughter, Christina Worsfold. Survived by wife, Lucerne; children: Elizabeth Stienblock, James Zach (Denise), John Zach (Sue), Larry Zach (Margaret), Jeanne Larsen, Thomas Zach, Susan Worsfold (Gary), and Daniel Zach (Jacci); twenty-four grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; brother, Bernie Zach (Jeanne); sister, Ann Schnoor. The family will receive friends Sunday, February 1st from 2pm to 4pm, with VIGIL SERVICE at 4pm, all at the West Center Chapel. MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL Monday, February 2nd at 10am at St. Adalbert Catholic Church. Interment, Calvary Cemetery with military rites by American Legion Post 331. Memorials are suggested to Columban Fathers, or may be directed to the family for family wishes.
