Kira is survived by her parents, Megan Plate and Chase Schmielau; sister, Brooklynn; Great Grandmother Barbara Huckabee; Maternal Grandparents Ron and Cindy Plate; Paternal Grandparents Geryl Schmielau, Diane Schmielau; Uncles Jason Plate, Bob (Diana) Hart, Brad Schmielau and Troy Schmidt;  Aunts Beth Hart and Jamie Plate; many cousins, including Brittnee, Jason & Maverick Plate, Autumn Smith (and daughters), Grayson Schmielau, Shelby West, Maya and Cadence Bartee, and Emily and Kaylee Schmidt; Great Aunt Marlene Phillips and all the Phillips cousins; her longtime boyfriend, Kavier McBride, his mother, LaKresha, and his family, and many Friends.

Visitation: Monday, October 13th, from 5-7pm at West Center Chapel.

Funeral: Tuesday, October 14th, 11am at West Center Chapel.
