Timothy B. “TT” Alves

Age 68

Preceded in death by his mother, Martha J. Alves and father, Alvin J. Alves

Survived by his sister, Barbara J. Evans (Bob); Michael A. Alves (Birgit); Mary E. Frey (Craig); many nieces; nephews; cousins and loving relatives and friends.

Tim passed peacefully at Prestige Care Center among the hands of loving and compassionate staff, which he called his family and dear friends.

Throughout his life, Tim was passionate about fishing, landscaping, cooking and playing his guitar. He had a keen sense of humor and a passion for making people laugh. He loved to listen to his music (loudly) and talk about the good old days. Though his passing leaves a deep emptiness in the hearts of those who loved him, Tim’s sprit will live on in the music that he listened to, in the joy that he passed to others and in the countless lives he touched. His memory will forever be a blessing to all who knew him.

CELEBRATION OF LIFE: Saturday, October 18, 2025 at 12:00PM at Primrose Restaurant, 619 Davis Avenue in Corning, IA with a GRAVESIDE SERIVCE to follow at Walnut Grove Cemetery.
