Stanley T. Mountford, M.D. May 21, 1932 – Oct 13, 2015 Stanley Thomas Mountford, M.D., was born in Davenport, Nebraska and graduated from Davenport High School in 1949. Following his service as a Senior Airman (SrA) in the United States Air Force, he took classes at Hastings College until 1957. He graduated from University of Nebraska Medical Center in 1961 and interned at Clarkson Hospital for one year. He started his medical practice in Millard, Nebraska in 1962. After 41 years, he retired from his family medicine practice in 2003. He is survived by his wife, Geraldine Mountford; son, Stephen Mountford (Reno, NV); daughters, Jane Pauley (Omaha, NE), Mary Ann Mountford (Leshara, NE), Joann Reynolds (Omaha, NE); son-in-law, Chris Reynolds; grandchildren, Drew, Alexa, and Taylor Moyer, Caden and Grace Reynolds (Omaha, NE); brother, Roger William Mountford (Wahoo, NE) and sister, Jeanette Malone (Lincoln, NE). He was preceded in death by his father, Dr. Forrest Mountford; mother, Irena Mountford; brother, Allan Bruce Mountford; and daughters, Susan Moyer and Jill Mountford. The family will receive friends Sunday, October 18th, from 2pm to 5pm at the West Center Chapel. SERVICES Monday, October 19th at 10:30am at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 13271 Millard Avenue. Interment, Evergreen Memorial Park with military honors by Millard American Legion Post 374 & VFW Post 8334. Memorials are suggested to St. Paul Lutheran Church.
